The Sartell‑St. Stephen School Board approved a set of routine motions and resolutions during its December meeting.

Donations accepted: The board approved a resolution accepting donations that included $2,376 from the Sartell St. Stephen pre‑K–5 PTO to Riverview Intermediate for a Minnesota Historical Society field trip; $2,000 from the Sartell All Sports Booster Club for high‑school volleyball; $100 from Park Industries to support high‑school robotics; $100 from the City of Sartell for National Night Out; an upright string bass valued at $3,300 donated by Sarah and Chris Thompson for the music program; and $300 from Christine Lawrence to the Sartell High School girls basketball program. The board moved and approved the donations resolution (motion moved by Emily, seconded by Matt) and thanked donors.

Other routine approvals: Trustees approved the consent agenda (motion by Matt, second by Jen), a resolution to establish combined polling places for upcoming elections (motion by Jen Smith, second by Emily), and motions to approve policies 515 and 516 (motion by Chelsea, second by Jen). In each recorded rollcall the chair called for ayes and the board carried the motions with no recorded opposition.

No controversial items were recorded in these votes; the motions were presented as routine actions following committee review. The board concluded the meeting by setting its annual organizational meeting for Jan. 5, 2026, at the District Service Center and adjourning at 7:19 p.m.
