Superintendent Dr. Ulmer brought the board up to date on a follow-up from a prior meeting about district property on Dec. 2, saying the district has discussed offering the ballfield and adjacent land for private sale.

"Please understand that we have had conversations with the township ... Nothing is official until both the board votes and the township supervisors vote," Dr. Ulmer said, emphasizing that both entities must approve any transfer or sale. He added that the property was subdivided so it could be taken over by the township but repeated that formal votes by both the school board and township supervisors are required before any sale is final.

Dr. Ulmer framed the update as clarification for the community, noting the board and township must each vote for the transfer to occur. No formal action or vote on offering the property was recorded at the meeting; he characterized the item as a status update and follow-up from the previous meeting.
