Applicant requests indefinite tabling of rezoning application for Southwest corner of Harmony Way

Chair Derek Park said the applicant requested tabling for agenda item 3, and the commission opened and then closed the public hearing before voting to table the matter indefinitely.
At the public hearing, a nearby resident, Terry Cohen, said the proposal would touch her property and reiterated neighborhood opposition, saying residents were promised at annexation that the area would remain as ranchette-style lots. Cohen said neighbors showed up to earlier meetings to oppose the project but felt their objections had not changed staff or commission action.
Because the applicant asked the commission to table the application, the item will return only if and when the applicant requests it be placed back on a future agenda. No additional action or detailed findings were recorded at the meeting.
