Officials said TIPs were developed after three years of withheld or combined TEA ratings and that the district must submit the plans to TEA before the posted deadline; administrators asked the board for approval to file the plans. Board members asked about walk-throughs and evidence of implementation; administration offered to schedule campus visits and said Region 20 and TEA had been conducting walkthroughs and would continue to monitor implementation.
No final TEA acceptance was reported at the meeting; district staff will submit the plans and await TEA's review and notification next year.
