Commission approves routine withdrawals and plats, receives October fee report

At its November meeting, the Oklahoma County Planning Commission approved several routine items: withdrawal of the general and final plats for the Fontenot Subdivision (GP 2025-01 and companion final plat), approval of the general and final plats for 4 Corners Land (GP/FP 2025-10), and receipt of the October fee fund and expense report.

Staff said the Fontenot plats were deferred previously and the applicant asked to withdraw both the general and the final plat; no members of the public spoke for or against those withdrawals and the commission approved them by roll call.

For 4 Corners Land, applicant Sammy Swise said the request was a straightforward split of approximately 10 acres into a two-acre tract and the remainder; staff confirmed the lot will remain in R-2 zoning and no neighbors spoke in opposition. The commission approved the general and final plats by roll call.

Staff also presented the October fee fund and expense report and said the office is slightly down for the month but projected the budget will be back in the black in November; the commission voted to receive the report.

All listed routine motions were approved by roll call.
