The West Haven ARPA Committee approved a series of invoices and two design contracts at its Dec. 2 meeting, and authorized environmental testing ahead of a planned demolition at 816 Sabin Avenue, the committee chair said.
Committee chair Ken Carney said the committee approved a $19,500 invoice from Carmody Torrance Sandak and Hennessy and a $471 invoice for Glade Street fence repair from Frankston Fence Company. "The threshold before going out to public bid is now 35,000, moved up from 10,000," Carney said while noting the change to the city purchasing ordinance.
