The Norris School District Board moved a recognition forward to honor the girls’ volleyball team and its coaching staff after another state championship appearance.

Coaches Kylie Malone, Ashley Rose and Chris Bosegger introduced players who attend board meeting and described team culture and memorable moments from practices and tournaments. Players gave brief introductions of positions and grades; coaches and board members praised the team’s sportsmanship and adaptability across positions.

Speaker 1 also announced that coach Christina Boesinger was recently named a national high‑school Coach of the Year and will be honored at the ABCA banquet in Kansas City on Dec. 18. Board members offered congratulations and emphasized the team’s role representing the district.

The board used the recognition as an occasion to highlight student engagement, community support and the district’s extracurricular successes. No formal action was required for the recognition.
