The McFarland School District Board took several recorded actions during its regular meeting.

The board set the district’s annual meeting date for Oct. 26, 2026. A motion to adopt the recommended date was made, seconded and approved by voice vote; the chair announced, "Motion carries 4 0."

Administrators presented three early‑graduation requests recommended for approval. After brief remarks praising student preparation and maturity, the board approved the three requests by voice vote, recorded as unanimous.

Finally, the board approved the administration’s recommendation to transfer students from Wisconsin Virtual Academy affiliates (Destinations Career Academy and Insight School of Wisconsin) back to their resident districts due to lack of engagement. The motion passed by voice vote; board members noted the group of transfers is mostly high‑school students.

All votes recorded during the meeting were voice votes and were announced as unanimous where applicable.
