City Administrator Mike Jones explained the consolidation would simplify administration by covering services previously governed by separate contracts. "This will consolidate multiple existing agreements that we currently have with this company," Jones said during the staff presentation, adding the mayor would be authorized to sign all related documents.
Council moved and approved the contract 6-0. Staff said the agreement would be paid from the police administration departmental budget over the contract term and asked for authority to sign the agreement.
The council did not record substantive amendments at the meeting; implementation details and budget allocations will be managed by police administration during the FY2026 budget cycle.
