College Place commission approves consent agenda; introduces new city administrator Troy Rayburn

At the start of the Dec. 1 meeting, the College Place Economic Development, Tourism and Events Commission approved the consent agenda, which included the meeting agenda and minutes, after a motion and second and an affirmative voice vote.
Presiding officers noted Chair Peck was not able to attend. Commissioners present at roll call included Warner, Case, Amick and Allen.
Commissioners were introduced to Troy Rayburn, the new city administrator. "My name is Troy Rayburn. I am the new city administrator. This is day 3 on the job," Rayburn said, and he thanked the commission for the invitation and said he looked forward to working with them.
The commission also reviewed meeting scheduling for next year; staff said the commission will meet in February, May, August and November of 2026 and confirmed the next meeting date as Feb. 2, 2026. The meeting concluded at 5:25 p.m. after a motion to adjourn and unanimous voice votes in favor.
