The Madison County Board of Zoning Appeals voted to recommend Jessica Davis for reappointment as an alternate at its December meeting.
Alan, a staff member, told the board that Davis’s appointment expires at the end of the month and that she had expressed interest in continuing. Board member (speaker 3) moved to recommend Davis for reappointment and Board member (speaker 4) seconded. The motion carried on a voice vote.
Alan said he would take the board’s recommendation to the county administrator’s office, which will forward it to the Board of Supervisors; staff indicated the supervisors are expected to confirm the appointment after the administrative process.
The recommendation was added to the agenda on the motion of a board member and discussed during new business. No conditions were recorded in the discussion. The board also approved the meeting agenda and the November minutes earlier in the session.
Next steps: the county administrator’s office will present the board’s recommendation to the Board of Supervisors for consideration and any formal confirmation action.
