CSISD swears in three newly elected trustees and recognizes outgoing members and student teams

Chris Field was ceremonially sworn in as trustee for Place 3, Mike Martindale for Place 4 and Kimberly McAdams for Place 5. Each took the oath of office in a family‑present ceremony. The board presented outgoing trustees Joshua Ben and Jeff Horak with commemorative plaques and brief remarks; both delivered farewell comments reflecting on service, the district’s challenges during the pandemic era, and the importance of focusing on students.
The board also recognized student accomplishments: the A&M Consolidated High School tennis team for advancing to the UIL state semifinals, state cross‑country qualifiers, and top‑performing marching bands. Elementary principals presented selected students and staff members for special recognition. The board adjourned its session following the recognitions and subsequent business.
