Council grants Timeless Antiques precious-metals and secondhand licenses

Matthew Shannon appeared before the council seeking two licenses to operate Timeless Antiques at 1208 Belmont Street: a precious metals and gems license and a secondhand articles license.
Shannon said he purchased the business from the previous owners and plans to continue operating in the same manner. Councilor Griffin, whose ward includes the business, expressed support and urged passage. No public opposition was recorded, and the petitions for both licenses were granted by the council.
The clerk noted the matters had been postponed from the Oct. 27 meeting and that all required paperwork was on file. The licenses were approved by hand vote as separate items.
