Water rates: Staff presented the first reading of an ordinance amending certain sections of Chapter 38 to change drinking-water rates effective Jan. 1, 2026; the Commission offered the ordinance for first reading and will act on final adoption at the Dec. 15 meeting.
Each action above was taken by roll-call vote; the consent agenda and property sale were unanimous, the fireworks permit passed with one abstention, and the water-rate ordinance is at first-reading stage.
