Bellevue council forwards liquor-license amendment for The Alley to state commission

At the Nov. 18 meeting the Bellevue City Council opened a public hearing on an amendment application to the Nebraska Liquor Control Commission to appoint Katie S. Brewer as manager for Switchgear Entertainment LLC, which operates as The Alley at 601 Chateau Drive in Bellevue. No members of the public spoke during the hearing.
Councilman Casey moved to recommend approval of the application to the Nebraska Liquor Control Commission; the motion was seconded (record shows McCaw) and the council voted "all voting in favor." Mayor Ollie said the recommendation is now headed to Lincoln for the state commission's review and final action.
The council took no additional local conditions on the application during the hearing.
