At its meeting the Crosby ISD Board of Trustees recorded the following formal actions:
- Donation approval: Motion to accept a $170,858 donation from the Crosby Education Foundation to fund innovative teaching grants. Motion by Trustee Humphries, second by Trustee Roach; vote 7–0 (motion carries).
- Annual financial report/audit acceptance: Due to an OMB compliance supplement release, the board formally approved the FY24 audit allowing auditors to issue the final audit. Motion by Trustee Humphreys, second by Trustee Chapman; vote 7–0.
- Interlocal agreement with Harris County Department of Education: Approved to provide HCDE programming at Crosby High School for 2025–26. Motion by Trustee Chapman; vote 7–0.
- Budget amendment FY 2025–26 (Amendment 1): Approved. Motion by Trustee Chapman, second by Trustee Humphreys; vote 7–0.
- 2026–27 academic calendar (4‑day hybrid): After discussion about student achievement measures and funding eligibility that depends on a minimum number of days, the board approved the proposed 4‑day hybrid calendar. Motion by Trustee Chapman, second by Trustee Thomas; vote 6–1 (one nay).
- Revised compensation schedule for FY 2025–26: Approved on return from closed session. Motion by Trustee Thomas, second by Trustee Humphreys; vote 6–1 (one nay).
- Hiring: Contract approved for Rusty Daniels as director of maintenance. Motion by Trustee Humphreys, seconded; vote 7–0.
