Pampa EDC reports activity and board recommends two appointees

The Pampa Economic Development Corporation presented its 2024–25 annual report to the Pampa City Commission, and the commission accepted the report and approved two board appointments.
Ryan Bradley, executive director of the Pampa EDC, told commissioners the EDC has seen personnel turnover and a surge in interest from regional developers, including projects tied to data centers and artificial intelligence. "We have enhanced our support of local businesses across all sectors, offer several public grants, business support loans, and growth loans this year," Bradley said, adding the region could become a tech hub with investment in nearby Amarillo and other projects.
Bradley described free business-development assistance the EDC funds and highlighted a strategy to prioritize smaller, well-funded projects that reinvest locally rather than only chasing large employers. He also recommended two candidates to fill PEDC board vacancies: Eduardo Campos and Dan Fowler. Bradley said the board selected them after interviewing three candidates (one applicant withdrew).
Campos described renewable-energy and development experience and said he wants to help local businesses pivot to new opportunities. Fowler cited 12 years as a financial adviser and said he’d bring financial oversight to the board.
Following a motion and second, the commission formally accepted the annual report and later—under Agenda Item 8—appointed Eduardo Campos and Dan Fowler to the Pampa EDC board of directors. The appointments were presented as filling seats vacated by a resignation and a decision not to renew and will begin in January 2026.
What happens next
The city manager and PEDC staff will onboard the new board members and update the board roster. Staff indicated the PEDC will continue outreach to local entrepreneurs and prospective developers and will report back to the commission as projects and incentives are implemented.
