Board authorizes engagement of outside firm to review workplace culture and approves personnel actions

Following closed session, the Uvalde CISD Board of Trustees on Nov. 18 voted to execute an engagement agreement with Marilyn Moore B LLC to assess workplace culture and climate concerns. Trustee Quinones moved the engagement and the motion passed with one abstention from a trustee who cited a perceived conflict of interest.
The board also voted to approve personnel employment, assignments, suspensions and terminations as presented in closed session. Trustees recorded motions and approvals and the meeting adjourned after routine closing actions.
