The Valley County Sheriff's Office publicly recognized Kevin Capari and Clear Creek RV Park for suspending business operations and providing facilities that supported deputies during a barricaded felony suspect incident at Clear Creek on Nov. 23, 2025.

Director Perry (Sheriff's Office) described the park owner's cooperation as materially helpful to public-safety operations, noting the facility provided incident-command support space that was out of the suspect's view and offered logistical assistance to deputies. "Your immediate willingness to suspend business operations at Clear Creek for the safety of our community ... reflects an exceptional level of civic duty," Director Perry said during the meeting.

Kevin Capari accepted the recognition; commissioners and staff thanked him for the assistance. The acknowledgement was presented as a public expression of gratitude rather than a formal award with fiscal implications.
