The Menands Village Board on Dec. 1 approved several motions brought during the regular meeting.
The board voted to accept the 5/31/2024 audit presented by BST & Co. CPAs after a presentation from Brendan Kennedy. Kennedy described the audits adjustments and recommended monthly reconciliations.
Separately, the board approved a request to designate one handicap parking space at 715 North Pearl Street after a motion and second were recorded and members voted in favor.
The board also authorized purchase and installation of door-access control and cameras for the records room and the main pump station at a total, one-time cost of $2,525. The purchase was discussed as a split charge (part from water funds and part from general buildings funds) and the motion carried.
Earlier in the meeting the board moved and approved routine disbursements and payroll as read. A motion to adjourn closed the meeting.
