Summary
Board approved Resolution 25-0618b authorizing private sale of unneeded police property and Resolution 25-0618c declaring a parcel on US 22 a nuisance and authorizing vegetation and debris removal; both motions passed unanimously in recorded votes.
The Hamilton Township Board of Trustees approved two property-related resolutions during its meeting.
Trustees approved Resolution 25-0618b authorizing the private sale of police-department property the board deemed unneeded and unfit for use. The motion was seconded and carried with affirmative votes recorded for Mister Rossi and Mister Sousa.
The board also approved Resolution 25-0618c declaring the parcel at 1233 US 22 (parcel number 1730302005) a nuisance and authorizing the removal of vegetation, refuse and other debris. Trustees discussed that the property has long been vacant, showing overgrown grass and derelict vehicles. Staff said Miss Walton would contract with a local landscaping company to abate the nuisance and, if necessary, place a lien on property taxes to recover costs.
Both resolutions were moved, seconded and approved during the meeting; trustees voting in favor were recorded in the minutes.
