The presenters said the development would include a mixture of short-stay lodging and an events center, offer programming such as yoga and workshops, and partner with local farms for produce. They told the council they were pursuing a variance through the city of Cincinnati and expected a phased timeline: if closing occurs as planned in November, they said an initial hotel opening could follow after seven to eight months of construction, with the full build-out taking about three to three-and-a-half years.
The presenters acknowledged the site—s historic significance and framed the proposal as a preservation strategy: "By introducing income generating users aligned with the estate character, this project transforms what could be a preservation challenge into an opportunity," they said.

Next steps described in the meeting: the developers will pursue the Cincinnati variance and, if that process advances, seek to return to local officials with plans and drawings. The council did not take formal action on the proposal during this meeting.
