During discussion, student co‑chairs and trustees said the class would meet local demand — seniors said they wished the class had been available earlier and juniors said it would align with AP Calculus AB preparation. "Very welcome class," a student co‑chair said.
Board President Lauren Christiansen called the vote and announced the motion carried 6‑0.
The course will be added for future scheduling; the administration and teaching staff will finalize placement and prerequisites.
