Council approved pay application No. 6 and change order No. 4 for the Event Hub project after staff reported the building is approximately 50% complete and interior mechanical, electrical and plumbing work is underway.

Deputy city manager reported that masonry and carpentry work has enclosed the event hub for winter work, overhead garage doors are expected soon and the project team is installing mechanical systems while finishing exterior masonry veneer. Staff described the space as a four-seasons event venue with roll-up garage doors that allow indoor-outdoor configurations and said the commercial kitchen and band shell areas are progressing. The deputy city manager suggested the council could be offered a safe tour of the construction site before the next council meeting.

Council approved the recommended payments and change orders by roll call. Staff said they are looking at 2026 for the first events but would not commit to a specific date.
