The Jackson County Board of Commissioners confirmed a slate of committee-recommended appointments across several county boards and commissions.
The board reappointed Cameron Carr to the airport board and approved planning-commission seats including John Brennan (public member), Celia Croft (agricultural representative), Mark Baldwin (industrial/economic representative, 7–1 roll-call), and Ted Hillary (education representative). Parks-board appointments approved included Crystal Pfeiffer, Kelly Grigel and Jeffrey Snyder. The board also appointed James E. Shotwell to the Blackman Downtown Development Authority seat and reappointed David Elwell to the Jackson District Library Board.
Multiple Department on Aging advisory-council reappointments were approved en masse, and the board noted several future vacancies that will be reposted. Most appointments were taken by voice vote or roll call as noted.
