Duxbury food-service staff report steady participation and new student-focused programs

Prince noted supply-chain pandemic funds used previously were discontinued in FY25; the staff intends to reinvest savings back into food-service equipment and programs. The team also plans surveys for elementary students (smiley-face format) and a high-school student-choice event in December.
Why it matters: district leaders said school meals are an important community resource and staff requested parents and families to make use of breakfasts and lunches during uncertain SNAP/benefits changes. Prince invited questions and said the department will continue to post quarterly newsletters and photos on its Instagram page.
