The Farragut Municipal Planning Commission voted to approve the final plat for Biddle Farms Townhouses, a 47‑unit development at 305 Hudson Bay Lane, subject to four staff conditions.
Staff planner Mark Shipley told commissioners the final plat is consistent with the earlier site plan and that most public improvements have been constructed; the staff recommended approval contingent on completing remaining site punch‑list items, obtaining required signatures, removing note number 7 concerning water and sanitary sewer easements, and removing a sidewalk easement for a privately maintained section of sidewalk. "This final plat is consistent with the site plan that came before y'all several months ago," Shipley said.
Commissioner (S5) moved to approve the plat with the four conditions. At the public hearing, Thomas Kojewski, representing Homestead Land Holdings LLC, said the applicant had no additional comments and asked for approval "subject to staff's conditions." Commissioners asked for clarification about parking; Kojewski said garages will be accessed from rear alleys, with some guest parking provided in parallel spaces along Mystic Charm Road and a few spaces adjacent to the common area off Hudson Bay Lane.
The commission voted in favor of the motion. No members of the public registered opposition during the hearing.
The approval is conditioned on the staff items described above; staff noted some longer‑term items will be handled outside the plat approval and do not block signing the final plat. The commission moved on to the next agenda item after the vote.
