Public Works staff reported more than 576 tons of material brought in through the voucher program during the first full year of 100% utilization; staff compared that volume to roughly 25 semi trucks and credited volunteers and community groups for cleanup efforts.
Commissioners thanked Mason County Garbage and volunteers, noting the program’s role in keeping county roadsides and waterways cleaner.
