Alongside high‑profile items, Ann Arbor City Council approved a set of routine items on Dec. 15.

The council approved the consent agenda with CA‑15 and CA‑16 held for separate discussion and passage later in the meeting. Council approved CA‑1 (allocation of senior millage funds for additional staffing at the senior center) after councilors reported listening sessions with constituents and county partners. The council approved an ordinance to amend the city's solid waste code (C‑1) and adopted the 2026 council calendar (DC‑1) by voice votes.

Council also approved regular meeting minutes from Dec. 1, 2025, and passed DC‑3 confirming 2026 council committee appointments; members thanked outgoing and continuing commissioners and noted a shift to a monthly budget and labor committee schedule in the new year.

The meeting concluded with approval of the clerk’s report of communications, petitions and referrals and a unanimous motion to adjourn.
