Under the contract, Harrison will receive an annual salary of $240,000 based on a 225-day work year, paid in equal monthly installments. The district will also provide a $500 monthly stipend for use of her personal vehicle in lieu of mileage reimbursement; Harrison is responsible for maintaining vehicle insurance and upkeep. Board materials stated those compensation terms to satisfy public disclosure requirements.
The board additionally received and announced a closed-session direction relating to a demand letter from Samuel Brown dated Dec. 9, 2025. On a motion by Vice President Norma Gonzales, seconded by Board Member Dina Flores, the board directed the board president and the interim superintendent to work with district legal counsel to respond to the letter; the clerk reported that motion passed 4–0.
No further contract amendments were made during the meeting. The board scheduled its next regular meeting for Jan. 13, 2026.
