The Scott County Fiscal Court approved a contract to renovate the courthouse HVAC system with a total cost the county reported to the record as $1,087,000.

Brad (joining by Zoom) said the total included alternates for pump replacement and LED courtroom lighting and noted an estimated completion window of about 157 days. Discussion included a request for any additional comments from court members; some magistrates announced recusals for this item. A motion to approve the contract was made, seconded and passed by voice vote.

Court members expressed support for getting the work underway; staff said they would coordinate schedule and notify the public as work begins. The contract and alternates were approved as presented in the meeting record.
