Board approves consent agenda, contracts and financial reports; tables a safety coordinator item

On Dec. 9 the Centennial School District board approved the consent agenda and related routine items.
The consent agenda, taken as a package, included approval of minutes from Nov. 11 and Nov. 25 meetings, personnel items (authorizations to employ, rescindments, leaves), an overnight William Tennant competitive cheerleading trip to Orlando (Feb. 7–9, 2026) at no district cost (booster club to cover expenses), affiliation agreements with several universities for student teaching, and the retroactive agreement with a substitute registered-nurse provider for Nov. 25, 2025–Aug. 31, 2027. One consent item (safety and security coordinator) was pulled for additional information and tabled pending further review.
Later in the meeting the board also adopted a package of policies presented for adoption and approved finance items by consent—schedule of bills, investment and cafeteria fund reports, November 2025 budget transfers, pending bill list and preapproved bill list.
Votes on consent items proceeded without roll calls except where requested; the pulled safety item will return to the board with additional details.
