Hardin County board approves consent agenda including special-education MOA and tech platforms to meet new law

The Hardin County Schools Board of Education unanimously approved its consent agenda, which bundled numerous operational and contractual items spanning special education, technology platforms, interagency agreements and construction projects.
The items approved included a memorandum of agreement for Special Education Services between the board and Central Kentucky Head Start for the coming school year and assurances for federal year 2026. The board approved a suite of communications and education platforms—GoGuardian, Infinite Campus, Anthology/Blackboard and related tools, as well as EAB Starfish for dual-enrollment students with KCTCS—citing the need to meet requirements under newly enacted state legislation.
The board also authorized an interagency agreement with the Department of Juvenile Justice for Hardin County Day Treatment and signed an MOA with the Kentucky Educational Collaborative for State Agency Children for funding educational services at Hardin County Day Treatment and at an identified hospital program. The board declared certain transportation items and a mobile unit surplus for sealed-bid auction and approved a BG5 for the Central Hardin High School turf project, and various change orders for construction phases and child nutrition projects.
A motion to approve the consent agenda was made, seconded and the board voted in favor. No individual roll-call tallies were recorded in the transcript; the Chair announced, "Motion carries."
