BDAB approves minutes, hears contract and tourism updates; Energy Trust invited to present

"EDCO is the recipient of the Central Oregon Innovation Hub," a presenter said, noting the contract is being finalized and staffed.
On community grants, a presenter announced the Bend Sustainability Fund has roughly $500,000 in tourism-tax dollars available for projects that serve visitors, have a useful lifespan of at least 10 years and involve real or improved property; applications close Jan. 16. The presenter said occupancy and revenue metrics have improved recently (approximately a 6.9% occupancy uptick and about 9.6% revenue improvement for the October–November window cited).
On board business, members agreed to draft a BDAB letter supporting the proposed Bend Central District EID for the January council discussion. Separately, Speaker 7 moved (seconded by Speaker 4) to invite Energy Trust for a 15-minute January presentation on non–fee electrification incentives; the motion passed with affirmative voices and staff were asked to coordinate scheduling.
Next steps: staff will finalize contract paperwork for the Innovation Hub, circulate language for the BDAB letter of support on the EID, and confirm Energy Trust's presentation date for the January meeting.
