Presenters stressed the district had not yet been awarded the grant and asked for approval to proceed with the submission process and preparatory steps so delivery could begin promptly if the award is made.

The board approved the request to proceed with grant planning and asked finance and grants staff to present matching-fund scenarios and procurement timelines if the district is awarded funds.
