Representatives of the R-III Public Schools Foundation joined the board meeting to present a check in support of the district’s early childhood playground.

Speaker 1 introduced Jamie Lambert, a foundation board member and the golf tournament lead, and noted the tournament (held Oct. 2 at Raintree Golf Course) drew more than 18 teams and 37 sponsors. Lambert came forward to present the check; the group took photos and board members thanked the foundation for its support.

No dollar amount for the donation was stated during the presentation. The board expressed appreciation for the foundation’s role in supporting district facilities and programs.
