City staff say SDC website live; dedicated domain routed to IT for review

Public‑health staff told the committee that "the request for a dedicated SDC domain has been formally routed to CDISP" (the city's IT department) for a feasibility assessment. The staff member said the city process requires a donation form for externally funded resources; AHEC has submitted that paperwork and the request may be routed to the legal department following IT feedback.

Staff emphasized that the domain is not necessary for the site to be public and that legal review will assess whether disclaimers or additional language are required because of the sensitive nature of suicide‑prevention resources. The committee will have an opportunity to propose content and review the site once departmental clearance is received.
