Designer Lindsey Runyon previewed the proposed second‑floor mural panels and timeline, asking the commission for feedback on selected photos, historical images and final text.
Runyon said she had isolated each wall section and provided zoomed views so commissioners could read text and evaluate images. She noted one historical correction — "the commission was actually formed in 2017" — that she will update. Runyon provided production details including approximate column widths (about 14.5 inches), photograph widths (about 12.75 inches) and font sizes (header ~90 points; body ~80 points) to help commissioners visualize legibility on the installed panels.
She asked Lucia and staff to search for older archival images of the original city logo and better aerials of Arapahoe Acres for potential replacement images. Runyon said she is coordinating tribal feedback through a consultant (Carl) who has worked on the project and that she expects to incorporate any tribal edits before finalization.
"I appreciate it. ... I think we're very close," Runyon said, and added that she would circulate a final PDF to communications and the commission for one last review. The printer has been contacted and Runyon said the vendor's current schedule is two to three weeks out for production and installation planning.
Commissioners asked only minor layout clarifications (left justification versus centered) and agreed that staff should circulate the updated PDF and, if necessary, place final approval on a future agenda.
