The board accepted an informational report on the county’s Nov. 5 timber auction. Staff said 20 tracts were offered and 18 sold, for just under 26,000 cords and a total auction value of about $809,000; Aspen prices averaged about $36.05 per cord, a modest rise from prior sales.
