Presenter demonstrated the platform’s capabilities: a district repository that can store athletic records, scholarships, academic awards, yearbooks, photos, student spotlights and galleries; touchscreen kiosk(s) to be placed at school buildings; QR code integration for mobile access; and a photo‑booth style kiosk for events. The platform was described as a searchable archive that would be linked to the district website and available publicly while also allowing in‑building kiosk displays.
Board members asked about scope, costs and labor: presenters said the agreement approved the platform hosting and initial white‑glove support from the vendor but that much of the content population would be performed by district staff and volunteers over time. Staff noted possible sponsors and foundation support paths to underwrite future enhancements.
Board action: the board approved the platform and directed formation of a historical preservation committee to coordinate content collection and governance.
