At its Dec. 16 meeting, Enterprise City Schools recognized students and staff from across the district. Mrs. Jorley Kane (Special Projects) and a district special education director presented Ben Nagy as the district Student of the Month, praising his consistent smile, kindness and role as a model for students with developmental delays.
Brookwood Elementary principal Jimmy Baker introduced Brookwood’s honorees: Juliet Choate, a fifth grader with perfect attendance and strong academic and extracurricular participation; Erin Rosa, named teacher of the month and teacher of the year, praised for classroom engagement and leadership on school teams; and Shannon Latona, the support-staff member of the month recognized for greeting students and supporting school operations.
Speakers emphasized the role of families and staff in student success and thanked the community for its support. The board expressed appreciation before moving to the consent agenda.
