Tess Craigier elected chair of BPPE advisory committee; Lee Farren to serve as vice chair

At the end of the Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education advisory committee meeting on Nov. 12, members elected Tess Craigier as the committee’s new chair and Lee Farren as vice chair.
Chair Lee Farren opened nominations and nominated Tess Craigier for chair. After a second and no public comments, the committee recorded 'Aye' votes from Tess Craigier, Melanie Delgado, Robert Boykin, Robin Smith, Kansen Chu and Lee Farren, confirming Craigier’s election.
Farren then nominated himself for vice chair; the nomination was seconded and the same six members recorded 'Aye' votes to approve Lee Farren as vice chair.
The meeting adjourned following congratulations and thanks to outgoing chair Farren for his service.
