District administration recommended adoption of several district policies under Policy 1310 (adoption and amendment of policies and bylaws). After a motion and second, trustees approved the listed policies by voice vote. The meeting packet listed specific policy numbers slated for adoption.

Separately, executive staff listed recommended instructional materials for first reading: French 1–3 (Notra Estor), STEMScopes Algebra I (including materials for ninth‑grade special education) and a U.S. history text for eighth grade ("United States History: Voices and Perspectives"). Those curriculum items were presented for first reading and will return to the board for subsequent action according to board policy and committee review.

The board also received a set of policies and procedures slated for first reading and noted retirement of selected older policies; these were informational items at this meeting.
