Bannock County commissioners acknowledged receipt of five responses to a request for qualifications (RFQ) for master planning services at the county Events Complex and moved to accept the submissions for review.
At the meeting, Speaker 1 confirmed the agenda item was the RFQ for master planning at the Events Complex and said, “1 addendum has been issued in response to the questions received,” describing the next steps: staff will acknowledge respondents, review each submission for required qualifications and then return with a decision. Speaker 2 told commissioners, “we have received 5 requests for qualifications,” and the clerk displayed five submissions.
Speaker 1 read the names of the five firms that submitted: Brecon Land Design; FFKR Architects; HECO Engineers (the transcript spelled this as "h e c o"); Rodney Evans and Partners; and Zable Landscape Architecture. Speaker 1 stated they had no conflicts with any of the submissions.
Speaker 1 moved to accept those submissions for review. The motion was adopted by voice vote after an affirmative response of “aye” from the room; no roll-call tally or individual votes were recorded in the available transcript.
Staff will proceed to review the qualifications and notify all respondents once the county reaches a selection decision. The meeting record does not include a vendor selection or timetable for a final decision.
