Speaker 6 told board members a governance-training link from Janet Walker was sent and asked that members complete the required program governance training so Head Start remains in compliance. The Head Start policy council is scheduled for budget training and health and mental-health training on Nov. 20.
Staff said class observations for Head Start teachers were completed and overall scores were "high proficient." Current enrollment includes 31 students with disabilities across centers; staff asked board members to notify them if they could not find the training link in their email.
