The Town of Braintree Town Council handled routine business at its Nov. 18 meeting, approving the Oct. 7 minutes, referring matters to committee and setting the next meeting date.
A motion to approve the minutes of Oct. 7 was moved by Mister Bradley and seconded; the president called for a voice vote and recorded the result as unanimous. Later, the council moved and seconded a measure to refer matters to the respective committees; that motion was likewise adopted by voice vote. The council set its next meeting for Tuesday, Dec. 2 at 7:30 p.m.
The meeting concluded after a motion to adjourn was moved and seconded and adopted by voice vote. The president also publicly thanked B Camp (Bill Needham and Jerry Carmack) for televising the meeting.
No ordinance, resolution, contract award, budget adoption or contested vote was recorded in the minutes for this session; actions were routine and carried by voice votes with the president recording them as unanimous.
