The Cannabis Compliance Board approved several license transactions and a withdrawal during its November meeting.
Green Therapeutics requested withdrawal of a transfer of interest (TOI 21072) after the proposed buyer, Australis Capital, was delisted from the Canadian exchange; Duke Fu (representing Green Therapeutics) said operations continue unchanged. Staff recommended approval of the withdrawal without prejudice, and the board voted to accept it.
The board approved an intrafamily, noncash transfer at True Harmony: John Anthony DeJoria will transfer 50% membership interest to his sister, Michelin DeJoria Hedari, for estate-planning purposes; applicants said Michelin will be involved at a high level but will not change day‑to‑day operations.
The board also approved Greenway Health Community’s 100% transfer of its production license to MMJ Investment Facility (TOI 2500026). Counsel and applicants stated prior stipulated-settlement conditions (a fine and a suspension) had been satisfied; the authorization included approval of a limited waiver under NCCR 5.112. The motion carried.
