In another motion the board designated the Chase County Sheriff's Office as the only entity authorized to make purchases or changes to any 800 MHz radio on the KSICS system assigned to Chase County. The policy explicitly applies to sheriff, fire, EMS, emergency management and road-and-bridge radios and passed by voice vote.
