The Human Services Committee approved a resolution to continue agreements with Health Research Incorporated that allow Chautauqua County to receive public‑health emergency preparedness funding.
Jessica Wursley said the funds originate as federal sources routed through the state and are used largely for staffing costs, training and travel associated with preparedness activities. She described the resolution as a housekeeping measure to permit continued acceptance of that funding stream.
The resolution passed by voice vote.
