PERRYTON, Texas — Perryton ISD trustees approved a fuel purchase contract during their meeting after hearing two bids for a split load of fuel for district operations.
Staff read bids for 2,000 gallons of unleaded fuel and 3,500 gallons of ULS No. 2 diesel with winter additive. The bid from Franck was read into the record and a competing bid from Equity was also noted. "Motion to approve the bid from Franck," a board member said; the motion was seconded and the chair announced, "Motion carries 6 0 1." The record includes the bid prices as read into the meeting record.
No named mover or seconder was recorded on the public transcript and the board did not discuss contract terms beyond the read bids. The board directed staff to sign the approved contract and proceed with the purchase.
The fuel award was the first substantive vote of the evening and was handled as a routine procurement action in the consent/regular agenda.
